In Sept. 2011, Monsanto bought the firm Beeologics, along with the firm's leading research on bee colony collapse disorder. This is seriously bad news. With Monsanto now in control of doing research to release a future Monsanto frankensteinian-bee that would be immune to colony collapse disorder would mean disaster for an already dying native bee population.
We do not want these future DNA-altered bees changing the DNA of our native bees. We do not want an entire population of frankensteinian-bees that could pollinate thousands of acres of Monsanto corn and not die, then wreak havoc contaminating organic farms and infiltrate organic beekeeping on organic farms. WE NEED TO ELECT OFFICIALS WHO CAN AND WILL CONTROL MONSANTO.
